To kick start our professional development series we are hosting Australian champion of both the 2015 World Latte Art Championship and 2015 Australian Latte Art Championship, Caleb Cha! Using a creative combination of free pour and etching techniques, Caleb created three signature designs to snatch the trophy and will impart his knowledge and wisdom in a two hour lecture and a series of latte art workshops over three days

Caleb’s exclusive keynote lecture will explore The Physics and Chemistry of Milk followed by a Q&A session in our training facility at HG Coffee School. He will cover in detail the processes of agitation, aeration and expansion of milk to achieve the best quality milk in your jug for pouring latte art designs. Be prepared to learn the nuances of milks’ elements: sugars, fats and proteins, and how they work!

Following on from this lecture, we are giving you the opportunity to put what you’ve learned into practise with hands-on latte art sessions with Caleb! We are hosting latte art workshops for beginners and baristas with more advanced skills on Tuesday March 7th and Wednesday March 8th.
